Half-Pint is a juvenile Hawaiian green sea turtle (honu) who was found in West Maui, with a severe strangulation entanglement.

Braided line was wrapped around both swollen front flippers and neck, with a portion of the line also ingested. The line strangulation was severe enough to expose bone on the right front flipper.

This little honu is a fighter, though, and after being admitted to our Honu Hospital, she's begun to heal.

Thanks to generous donors and adopters like you, Half-Pint will receive treatment, and the chance to return home to the ocean.

Our Honu Plushy Adoption Package includes:

• Personalized adoption certificate for your chosen patient

• Digital Hawaiian green sea turtle educational guide

• Green sea turtle plushie
