    The Marine Institute of the Maui Ocean Center (MOCMI) operates one of only four land-based coral nurseries in the U.S. The nursery provides a safe-haven for coral to be nursed back to health, micro-fragmented, and returned to the ocean to help restore Maui’s reefs.
